Qualifications for Membership

To qualify for membership in the DELCO Chapter of PAHCOM, the candidate must meet the requirements of one of the three following classifications:

Active Members

Student Members

Faculty Members

An active member  of the DelCo Chapter of PAHCOM shall:
1.  Be a continuous active member of the National Association
2.  Be affiliated with the provision of health care office management
3.  Remit chapter initiation fees and/or chapter dues as voted upon by the membership.
4.  Be currently working as a healthcare practice manager/supervisor and be responsible for administration of the day-to-day operations practice, and/or management/supervision of personnel.
5.  Present DelCo Chapter PAHCOM members who leave practice will be grandfathered in as a chapter member.
6.  Potential members will be permitted to attend two (2) meetings prior to joining the membership.
7.  Potential members shall be entitled to equal treatment regardless of race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation or marital status.

A student member of the DelCo Chapter of PAHCOM shall:
1.  Be a continuous student member of the National Association.
2.  Be enrolled a minimum of 3/4 time in an academic program related to healthcare office management.
3.  Remit chapter initiation fees and/or chapter dues as voted upon by the membership.

A faculty member of the DelCo Chapter of PAHCOM shall:
1.  Be a continuous Faculty member of the National Association.
2.  Be a full-time instructor of an academic program related to health care office management.
3.  Remit chapter initiation fees and/or chapter dues as voted upon by members.
