Intersted members will need to complete a brief scholarship application and submit it to Barbara Foster by July 15th. (application attached). Instructions were distributed at the meeting. Barbara will email it to all members as well. National scholarships are also available and can be accessed by going to the webite www.pahcom.com The Executive Committee has had discussion about developing a community service project for December. DCMS and Rose Tree Place both shared an interest in partnering on such a venture. Possible projects discussed included a public presentation on “getting the most out of your doctor’s visit”, and a program to help seniors with insurance claims problems. Other considerations included partnering with Aprise and possibly locating the event at a senior center. Mary Jo reported that she had only received two responses to a survey of members regarding topics for future meetings. She encouraged members to let the Executive Committee know what they want to hear. June starts the new year for committees. Barbara circulated a sign up sheet for all committees.
